To provide core functionality of the CopperFleet mobile app, we request access to certain device features. Below is an explanation of how we use each of these features and examples of their use:

Camera Access

We request access to your device’s camera to:

Allow drivers to capture proof-of-delivery photos, including signatures or package drop-offs.

Camera access is only triggered during user-initiated actions and no images are recorded or transmitted without your consent.

Location Access

We request access to your device’s location (while using the app or, if permitted, in the background) to:

Track delivery routes and provide real-time updates to dispatch or fleet managers.
Optimize routing, estimate arrival times, and log driving activity for compliance.
Tag activities such as inspections and drop-offs with accurate geolocation data.

Location data is collected only as needed during app workflows and is never shared for advertising purposes.

Contacts (If Used)

If contacts access is enabled in future versions of the app, it will only be used to allow:

Inviting team members or coworkers to the CopperFleet platform using your device’s contact list.

We do not store or upload your contact data without your explicit confirmation.

Microphone Access (If Used)

If microphone access is required, it will be used only to:
